Botanical Clay: Tools for Gatherers

Handcraft your own garden-to-table tools using local clay and simple techniques.

100 Australian dollars
Arkinstall Road

Service Description

Join me for a slow, creative workshop where we’ll shape two beautiful, practical garden tools from local clay: a flower frog for natural floral arranging, and a herb stripper to make harvesting herbs a joy. This session is all about grounding yourself in the garden, the seasons, and the satisfaction of making something by hand. No pottery experience needed — just a love of nature and a curiosity to create. You’ll walk away with: - A handmade flower frog — perfect for sustainable, foam-free arrangements - A ceramic herb stripper — a simple tool to help with garden-to-kitchen harvesting - Knowledge of seasonal herbs and basic flower styling - A calming, tactile experience using local materials and traditional craft Your tools will be glazed and ready for collection or delivery within 2–3 weeks.

Wild Gardening acknowledges the Widjabul Wia-bal people of the Bundjalung Nation as the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we live and work, here in Tuntable Creek. We pay our deepest respects to Elders past and present, and honour the ongoing connection First Nations people have to Country, culture, and community.

Always was, always will be, Aboriginal land.
